Wyatt Austin hails from Morganton, North Carolina, where he has lived his whole life. 

Right before his earthly birthday in 2008, Wyatt accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at age 8, and that day began his spiritual foundation to his life serving the Lord and in ministry.

His pathway into gospel music began in 2017. Though he did not grow up singing publicly, his heart was in gospel music, spending many hours listening to vintage gospel music, and was drawn into the world of gospel music—ultimately into the legacy of The Chuck Wagon Gang.

In January of 2017, Wyatt began his musical career by joining the The Chuck Wagon Gang as their bass vocalist. For the next year and a half, his dream was fulfilled! 

​

In 2018, he felt as his time there was complete, and he began traveling with the legendary Inspirations Quartet, playing bass, and singing bass occasionally. 

In 2020, when the pandemic hit, the group had some position changes, and Wyatt stepped up to bass vocalist, and is still filling that position today, continuing deep roots in the gospel quartet tradition!

In July 2024, he began new branch of ministry when he accepted the call to preach. He stepped forward in obedience, eager to share God’s love letter with others, and hoping hearts are turned towards Him!

Just as he has done through music for years, he carries the same message of hope from the stage to the pulpit.

His favorite Bible verse is Romans 10:9 “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

His heart is to demonstrate Jesus’ love to everyone he meets and help lead them closer to Christ, and if they have never accepted the gift of Salvation, that he could have the honor of leading them to the Lord!
