Your Team at Wyatt Austin Jewelers

Candice Milstein

Since 1984 when Jeff and Candice opened Wyatt Austin Jewelers Candice has kept her family, customers and community foremost in her mind. Never living far from the store, her children were raised here in Schaumburg and she supported their participation in school, SAA and Boy Scout activities. She continues to always develop her skills for the benefit of her customers. After raising her two boys, Wyatt and Max, she decided the time was right to finish her Graduate Gemology Degree from the Gemological Institute of America.

After 25 years in business, Candice and Jeff decided to move the store to the current location that’s easier for customers from the entire Chicago region to get to. “The new store is constantly changing, improving the ambience, and selection of product and services. Our most recent improvement is the expansion of the Design Boutique area of the store.” Candice brought in a new design program, Counter Sketch, where the customer can actually be the designer. “I think people will have fun playing with the program and then be surprised that they actually designed their next ring themselves!” “Overall, it’s my goal to make every person who walks into Wyatt Austin Jewelers feel like their coming into my home. I want them to be comfortable and confident that I will provide what it takes to make their jewelry dreams come true and create the memories that come from that.”

Tsavi is becoming the most popular member of our staff. Although she is only 3 years old, she has the charm and grace of a 7 year old. If she’s not working, you can still see her two glamour shots that are displayed in the showroom. She can sit and dance on command (and a treat), but her best trick is looking adorable. Not many people know this but her name is short for Tsavorite Garnet. It’s her favorite gemstone. She’s hoping to receive a Tsavorite Garnet pendant for her birthday.

Over the next 14 years, utilizing her creative talents, Amy developed the skills to become a professional goldsmith and became an expert wax carver. In 2006 Amy took the opportunity to join the Wyatt Austin Jewelry Team to advance her skills as a Designer. Her love of combining art and design came together with her advanced CAD training. Amy's fun loving personality allows each of her clients to be comfortable and enjoy the design process. Her jewelry experience and desire to please her clients insures each customer will be completely satisfied with her work.

"I think that being a traditional goldsmith and wax carver, as well as a CAD designer gives me an advantage, I understand the whole process of jewelry manufacturing. I really try to put something that has a personal meaning to my client into each piece i make. Recently i ran into my friend Amanda, whom i had made a ring for in 1994, she held up her hand and said, "See! I still love it!" Having her tell me that after all these years is a very rewarding feeling, I love that she got exactly what she wanted and has been enjoying it all this time."
